Saturday at Devon

devon Beautiful and bountiful describe this day in Devon, PA. The sun shone brightly as Fourth Level competitors performed in the Gold Ring. Anna Karenina and Suzanne Van Cuyk (shown here, right) seized the day with a score of 73.750. With Intermediare I, the FEI Junior and Young Rider Teams and The Can-Am Challenge scheduled in the Dixon Ring, many familiar names entered the arena, rode solid tests and joined in the victory gallop. Suzanne Van Cuyk and her Delwhinnie's Indigo were fourth in the I1 and Sue Madden Mandas with Whiz Kid, winners from Friday's Prix St. Georges, were sixth. The Americans lead in the Can-Am Challenge, with Idocus and Lendon Gray on top and Americans Dorothy Morkis on Gershwin and Lynda Alicki on Impressario coming in second and third.
