Ann Ott and Easy to Spot

ott and spot While photographing a local Central Florida Dressage Club show, we came across a new breed, the Pintaloosa! Easy to Spot is a 7 year old gelding who is double registered with the International Spotted Horse Registry as an Appaloosa and a Paint.

This coloring is extremely rare. When you breed color to color (like a paint horse to a paint horse) there is a 50% chance that the offspring will have color. The same holds true when you breed Appaloosa to Appaloosa. And if you try to breed an Appaloosa to a Paint, there is a 25% or less chance that you will get both color characteristics in the same horse.

Read more about Ann Ott and Easy to Spot and the ISHR. . . and head to their website sometime soon.
