Wahajama Sold to Ann Kathrin Kroth

Wahajama Germany's most successful young dressage horse, Wahajama, has been sold to Ann Kathrin Kroth. The former German team gold medallist at the 1988 Olympic Games of Seoul, payed the claimed price of 5,000,000 Deutsch Marks for the black Hanoverian mare.

Ridden by Holga Finken the Warkant x Acapulco daughter won the four and five year old division at the German Young Dressage Horse Championship with the highest notes ever achieved each year, developing a reputation of "world class potential". In July 1999 the mare gained the title of "World's Best Young Dressage Mare" by placing third in the World Championships in Arnhem, The Netherlands (picture). Ann Kathrin Kroth-Linsenhoff will made her choice in Wahajama as her Olympic hit for the Games in 2004.
