Ladies Domiate Derby
Featured here is the judges' panel for The Palm Beach Dressage Derby.
Judges featured are L-R; Uwe Mechlem (GER), Marianne Ludwig (USA), Minako Furuoka (Jpn), Lois Yukins (USA), Linda Zang (USA), Eric Lette (SWE), Maryal Barnett (USA), Liselotte Fore (USA), Mariette Withages (BEL), Goetz Weber-Stephan (GER), and Uwe Spenlen (GER). It was ladies day today, with Tina Konyot and her 9-year old Dutch WarmBlood, Irene Kooyman's Justice who won the Grand Prix CDI USET qualifier for the Grand Prix Special, and also topped the field of Intermediare I competitors with Kroongraaf. Leading the Grand Prix qualifier for the Grand Prix Freestyle was Carrie Schopf and Ikhtisas, a Holsteiner-Thoroughbred cross mare which traveled from their training base in Bremen, Germany to take a shot at the Olympic dream. It came closer to reality today, as they edged out Robert Dover and Rainier for first place. After their Freestyle, ride to a classical theme on Sunday, Schopf will return to Germany to continue developing their talent.
