December 1, 2000 USET Honors 2000 Champions The
United States Equestrian Team (USET) named champions in dressage, eventing,
show jumping, driving, endurance and reining in 2000. This year the USET
also competed at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games in show jumping, dressage
and eventing and in World Championships in Endurance and Four-In-Hand
Driving.
Dressage Champions Sue Blinks of Wellington, FL riding Flim Flam, owned by Fritz Kundrun and the Dressage Sponsor Corporation won the State Line Tack/USET Championship, presented by Rio Suite Hotel & Casino, finishing the four rounds of competition with the highest score of 70.844. The Championship also served as the USET Dressage Olympic Trials and was held at Mary Ann & Walter McPhail's Horse Park at Equestrian Estates in Loxahatchee, FL. Scoring a combined average of 70.287%, Jan Ebeling of Moorpark, CA elegantly rode Ricardo, owned by Amy Roberts Ebeling, to victory in the State Line Tack/USET Intermediaire Championship presented by Rio Suite Hotel and Casino at the Bayer/USET Festival of Champions.
