Wednesday October 24, 2001 Lisa Wilcox Wins Again in Europe
In two Prix St. Georges classes, Wilcox also topped the leader board, this time riding the seven-year-old Oldenburg stallion, Regal Dancer, (Rubenstein I x Wicke) with scores of 69.75% and 70.90% respectively. In each class, she beat Germany's Michael Klimke, the son of world famous Olympic dressage veteran, Dr.Reiner Klimke. "The fun part is that I have so many good horses at the moment," said a delighted Wilcox. "There's been a lot of interest in the success I'm having here in Europe." Wilcox, who is trained by Ernst Hoyos from the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, Austria, also rides the 11-year-old Rodiamant and his full brother, the seven-year-old Royal Diamond. Both Rubinstein I sons will be competing in Dusseldorf CDI-W October19-21, 2001. Royal Diamond and Regal Dancer have qualified for the Prix St. Georges at Frankfurt CDI*** from December 14-16, 2001.
