2001 NAYRC Gold Medallist Leslie Eden
Reaching New Heights

For 21-year-old Leslie Eden of Longwood, Florida, her first and last year to compete in the NAYRC resulted in the Gold Medal. On her Dutch Warmblood Picasso, Eden worked her way up through the levels being one of the first Dressage Gold medallists who trained her own horse to FEI.

Eden who trains with Anne Gribbons actually bested her coach by a fraction of a percentage point to win the Intermediaire I, at the 2002 Zada Dressage Classic, Friday, February 15, bringing her one step closer to her 2002 goal of competing in the Prix St Georges/Intermediaire Championships at the USET Festival of Champions to be held in June.
