Thursday September 4, 2003 KWPN Stallion Sir Sinclair Purchased By Iron Spring Farm
Sir Sinclair born March 29, 1999, Bay, 17’ By Lord Sinclair out of Krishna (star, sport) by Flemmingh (keur). The sire and the dam of Sir Sinclair both have important bloodlines. The sire of Sir Sinclair is the stallion Lord Sinclair (Lanciano x Raueck). Lord Sinclair won the 100 day Stallion Performance Test in 1999 at Neustadt / Dosse and he had a score of 147,16. in dressage. Lord Sinclair scored a perfect 10.0 in character, ability to work, rideability (twice), and trot. He also won the Bundeschampionate for 3-year old and 4-year old in Germany. Sir Sinclair's dam is the star sport dressage mare, Krishna. She showed at Fourth Level. The dam's sire, Flemmingh, can pass on type and movement as no other. Sir Sinclair got an excellent score at the 70 day test in Ermelo in 2002. Walk : 8 , trot : 9 , canter : 8 and suitability as a dressage horse : 8.5 he was ranked 1st for dressage and 9th overall. He had 155 foals born in Holland in 2003. His foal report is as follows “Uniform collection of riding type, typey foals that are satisfactorily developed with a light foundation. The trot is light footed with a good use of the hind leg and has much carriage and tact.” ISF believes that Sir Sinclair will be a wonderful addition to its farm and will cross well with the mare based in North America Sir Sinclair will be available for breeding in 2004.
