Dressage Riders to Compete at 2006 Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF National Grand Prix Dressage and Intermediaire Championship

This year, the Dressage National Championship has also been designated as the selection trials for the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG). Therefore, riders will not only be competing for the national championship title, but they will also be vying for two of the four spots on the U.S. dressage team that will compete at the WEG later this summer in Aachen, Germany, August 20-September 3. The dressage competition will take place August 20-27.

USEF Mourns Loss of Mary Lutz, Friend, Colleague and Devoted USEF Staff Member

It is with the deepest sense of loss that the USEF must announce that Mary Lutz, Director for Endurance and Para-Equestrian, died today as a result of a riding injury. We ask that the entire equestrian community join us in expressing our deepest sympathy to Mary's family. Mary’s devotion to horse sport, her patient team attitude, and her commitment to both Endurance and Para-Equestrian were admired and respected by all who had the privilege to work with her. More information regarding memorial arrangements will be provided when available.
