Martin Collins Enterprises Believes Americans Really Care About Their Horses

It’s because Martin Collins Enterprises believes that Americans and Canadians really care about their horses that the company is expanding its marketing efforts in North America. “There is a growing realization that there are alternative footings available that are more sympathetic to the horse in terms of improving the way a horse goes and helping to keep them sounder for longer,” said Glynnie Walford.

In addition to its popular Polytrack, the company has developed several other types of riding surfaces, which means that Martin Collins has a surface to meet every need regardless of discipline. “We’ve provided service to clients in racing, polo, eventing, show jumping, dressage and therapeutic riding programs. It’s pretty universal,” Walford said. And it matters not whether clients are private with one horse or a huge show park, the company seeks to meet the needs – and budget – of all clients.

If Walford is an example of those who staff Martin Collins, then it’s clear this is a company of highly enthusiastic equestrians. Like most who work for Martin Collins, Walford is herself a rider, in her case a dressage rider. What drives everyone associated with the company is their own personal love and compassion for horses.

“We really believe in our product and really believe it’s best for the horses. And so, we’re passionate about what we do. It’s our lives,” Walford said. And what makes everyone in the company most excited these days, she said, is that a growing number of riders around the world are coming to realize the importance of footing for the health and safety of their horses. “It’s really exciting for us. More and more people are becoming aware and they really want to do what is best for their horses.”
