Catching up with Thin Line Rider - Mette RosencranzFirst a big thank you to all of our customers who have tried and loved their ThinLine saddle pads! During the last year ThinLine has spread through horse community, mostly by word of mouth.  And the results have been phenomenal for horses, riders and those of us here at ThinLine.  As we entered the buying year of 2008 our company has been able to achieve greater discounts on product purchases, manufacturing and shipping. And that’s good news to all ThinLine users!

After a close inspection of the bottom line the ThinLine team asked themselves what was most important about everyday at work.  Every employee is a rider and a horse lover and they said what gets them out of bed every day are the phone calls and emails we received from owners and trainers thanking us for the improvement in their horses whether it be performance, soundness or increased saddle fit, and the emails and letters we receive telling us how our products have helped riders to have better seats: all riders from Olympians to back yard horse lovers.

As a team we decided it was most important to continue to spread the word about ThinLine and help these products find their way into barns across the world.  So, the corporate decisions was not to pocket the profits from the additional savings but to pass them directly on to the consumer so every horse and rider could be able to afford the benefits of ThinLine.  The result is that we were able to reduce the cost of basic ThinLine and Ultra ThinLine pads by about 19%, a huge difference in today’s economy.  While tack shops are fighting price increases across the board our shops are thrilled to have such an effective product now available for less!

ThinLine and Ultra ThinLine are made in the USA so we are also happy to be able to create an American product we hope will be loved by horses around the world.

Keeping it green:  Additionally ThinLine has now achieved 100% use of our high tech foams. Our hoof pads and frog inserts are stopping founder in its tracks and providing a shock absorbing pad for horses with soft soles and those who prefer to ride in boots.  The small scraps we are unable to use in the farrier products are now being sold as arena footing.  As of 2008 ThinLine is able to utilize 100% of the product so NOTHING goes into the land fill!

We hope you will visit our website and sign up our  email list as we have many exciting and innovative products on the planning board.  Here is a hint for what will be launched at Dressage at Devon: could it be……ThinLine riding breeches, ThinLine Dressage Bridles,  a cotton half pad with Ultra ThinLine and a sheepskin trim to give the look but not the bulk?  Who knows what could be coming soon to your tack trunk soon.

Thanks again for all your support as we return the favor.  Check out our new prices at ThinLineInc.com  ThinLine: Better for the Rider, Better for the Horse, it just keeps getting better!
