Dressage Show News
The June show marked the debut of the Copper Creek Dressage Series’ new Bose sound system, which made the freestyle rides even more entertaining. “Michigan’s tough economy is a real challenge to both exhibitors and show management,” said Show Manager Sandy Hunt, “but the Copper Creek Dressage Series has gathered a group of very loyal and dedicated exhibitors and it is a real team effort to find creative ways to grow the shows.” Hunt also thanked sponsors Sporthorse Saddlery, Kern Road Veterinary Clinic, Tractor Supply Co. of Williamston, Comfort Inn of Okemos and Spruce Glenn Farm. Very special thanks go to Mary Phelps of DressageDaily.com for her outstanding support of Michigan Dressage. The Summer Dressage @ Copper Creek August 2 and 3 will welcome popular Michigan judge Maryal Barnett, along with Judge Arlene Ridgon of Kansas.
