Maksymilian is an imported 14-year-old KWPN gelding by Elcaro. A rising star on the International Dressage scene, “Maks” had quite a year in 2008, making a name for himself with a top 12 finish at the 2008 Dressage World Cup in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. He most recently competed at the CDI Hagen in Germany. He has had multiple winnings and high placings at CDI competitions nationally as well, including the win at the 2008 Palm Beach Dressage Derby CDI-W/Y with a score of 72.85 which earned the spot on the US World Cup Team. A few of the many prestigious shows where Maks has shown much success are the 2007 Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Dressage Festival of Champions, 2007 Washington International Horse Show's $25,000 Grand Prix Dressage Challenge (where he placed 2nd) and the GAIG/USDF Regional Dressage Championships just to name a few. Maks is a big bodied horse with expressive and elastic movement and extensions worthy of a ‘10’! He has a superb piaffe and passage and moves with much power behind.
