March 12-17, 2008 - Due to the high demand for participation in the North American Dressage Trainers' Club 2008 FEI Course for Young Horse Dressage Judges to be held March 12-17, the venue has been changed. The event open to the public for the first time featuring Christoph Hess, Stephen Clarke and Linda Zang is now being held at Treasure Coast Farm, 5656 Southwest Ludlum, Palm City, Florida, 34990. Scandinavia’s Most Recognized Trainers Team Teach in Wellington
March 18-19

Swedish Teacher of the Year, and GP-Rider Pether Markne with former Dane and partner Per Sandgaard are heading to Wellington, Florida to do a team teaching clinic for the first time ever. The famous couple belongs to the Swedish A-team and both aim to go to the Olympic Games in Hong Kong. Per and Pether train, live and teach together.

“We have such different personalities that it brings a lot of dynamics into our classes,” says Pether. Per surprised his colleagues in 2004 by qualifying 15-year-old Zancor for the Olympic Games in Athens 2004. Zancor was e at age 13.ond levelse here and made a super r - un ur classes, says Pether,, an unknown KWPN gelding, foaled by a simple school horse and had not done more than second level dressage by age 13. June 28-29, 2008 - National Dressage Pony Cup Offered in Conjunction with the Paxton Farms Summer Classic in Ohio - By Donna Kuck

The National Dressage Pony Cup will hold its inaugural show June 28-29, 2008, at Paxton Farm in Cincinnati, OH. The show was created by a group of pony owners in order to promote ponies, their breeders and riders in dressage competition in the United States. Ponies of all breeds are invited to attend the United States Dressage Federation/United States Equestrian Federation-recognized show held in conjunction with Paxton Farms Summer Classic. The ponies will be officially measured at the show unless they already have a permanent measurement card.

Wellington, Florida - Spanish National Dressage Team Member Victor Alvarez will conduct a Seminar on the Principles of Dressage for the PRE Horse and All Breeds in Wellington, Florida on Monday, February 11, from 1.30-4.30 pm, sponsored by the United States PRE Association (USPRE). Victor Alvarez is the founder and Director of the C.A.V.A. Center for Dressage and Competition near Barcelona. Victor's academic and classical style of riding has been called "aristocratic" and he brings his knowledge of the German training system to the instruction of all breeds.
